Samantha Mellor brings over 20 years of diverse experience within the hospitality industry, now serving as the People & Culture Advisor at Minor Hotels. Her career journey is a testament to her dedication to creating exceptional guest experiences and fostering positive workplace cultures.
Samantha began her hospitality career as a waitress in cafes, restaurants, bars, and nightclubs across the UK, spending eight years mastering the art of guest service. Her passion for hospitality saw her rise through various management roles, including Restaurant Manager and Bar Manager. In 2006, she embarked on a global adventure with Princess Cruises as an Entertainment Host, delivering unforgettable experiences and ensuring every cruise was a voyage of a lifetime.
In 2012, Samantha joined the Art Series Hotel Group, where she played a pivotal role in Reception, Conferencing, Sales, and eventually became the Talent & Culture Advisor. Her work spanned Learning and Development, Recruitment and Training for five new hotels, and driving company culture, ensuring team members were equipped to create genuine and memorable guest experiences.
Now at Minor Hotels, Samantha continues to apply her extensive expertise in people and culture, helping to shape and enhance the hospitality experience for both team members and guests.
