Lisa Hobbs is an accomplished CEO and Executive with over 17 years’ senior leadership success across a range of industries, including financial services and hospitality.
Over the past 10 years, Lisa has worked as CEO and COO for various hospitality groups in Sydney, Australia. She understands how to build clear, distinct and professional brands for companies in the competitive hospitality market, enabling businesses to scale and grow through strategy and strong operational leadership.
Prior to hospitality, Lisa was a Vice President for Credit Suisse, where she built a reputation for tenacity in execution and was responsible for product development and management. In fact, what has been core to Lisa’s success is her ability to execute and her focus on creating customer-centered environments. Lisa believes ‘people work for people’ and that it’s a leader’s job to build the right culture and inspire employees to follow.
Lisa is now Director on the board of Women in Hospitality where she is also an industry speaker on topics spanning career planning for women, talent attraction, staff retention, technology trends, and how to build an event pipeline. With a background in marketing, strategy, operations, and governance, Lisa is results-focussed and solutions-driven.
