Mariam Yacout
HACCP Specialist
Mariam Yacout is a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Coordinator at Maple Lodge Farms. She is highly experienced in quality management training, having consulted over 300 individuals and multinational companies in a range of industries across the world.
Mariam began her career as a student of Veterinary Medicine. In her last year, she attended a course on food safety, and was so inspired by the instructor’s passion and knowledge that she knew she wanted to dedicate her career to the study and regulation of food safety on an international scale. She went on to attain a Master’s Degree in Quality Management, and has worked within the industry since.
Mariam’s expertise covers a wide range of food quality management areas, including prerequisite programs, HACCP systems, food safety culture, and food defence. Her titles have included Food Safety Auditor and HACCP Coordinator for a number of prominent hospitality companies. She is a passionate advocate for mentorship and learning, living by the mantra ‘the more I learn, the more I want to communicate that knowledge to the world’.
