Anthony McGinty is an intelligence and security expert with a background in military service and homeland security. He has spent the last several years supporting Los Angeles International Airport counterterrorism programs and recently accepted a position as an Intelligence Advisor at Southern California Edison. He also provides consulting services to private and government clients.
Tony's career covers thirty years in a variety of venues and capacities: these include the Marine Corps; Washington, D.C. law enforcement as a detective in homicide and internal affairs; and homeland security. In Washington, D,C. and Los Angeles, CA, he has worked with hotels in threat mitigation strategies.
Tony's work has been featured in The Atlantic and CNBC. In 2017, he was the recipient of the Los Angeles Mayor's Civic Innovation Award. Tony holds certifications in security management (American Society for Industrial Security) and intelligence collection. He has a B.A. from The George Washington University, and graduate degrees from Georgetown University.
