A perfect blend of chocolate and coffee, this drink was first invented in America. The name derives from the port town of Mocha in Yemen which has been associated with coffee since its founding in the 1300s! In fact, the coffee bean is so rooted in the country’s history that it even features on the countries emblem – an eagle with a shield depicting the coffee plant.
It may have first been invented in America, but the Café Mocha gets its name from the port town Mocha in Yemen.
