Pete Licata started working with coffee in 2003. Since then, he has worked in every facet of the industry, from farming to packaging and everything in between.
In 2013 Pete won the World Barista Championship with a cocktail-inspired beverage. He now runs Licata Coffee Consultants, teaching and training competition baristas, and Roast Ratings, an educational platform that aims to make specialty coffee more accessible.
Pete also helps new businesses get set up, sources coffee and runs roasting evaluations.
